Monkfish have one of the most unusual appearances in the animal kingdom, but are also ferocious bottom-dwelling predators! They lay on the bottom of the ocean and use an antennae on top of their heads as fishing rod with bait. Once fish draw near, the monkfish quickly strikes and can swallow fish that are nearly their own size.
Monkfish skeleton looks like a bear trap on stealth mode, lying on the ocean floor. Gonna be a pretty weird specimen in your oddities cabinet.
